Tomekia is a mother of two, and a Georgia native who has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences (B.S. FACS) and Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), both from the University of Georgia. Tomekia is passionate about working with people to help them live their best life. She has worked in the community and healthcare for over 15 years as an advocate, counselor, mediator, educator, case manager, facilitator and change agent. Tomekia strives to make a difference in the lives of others on a daily basis. Her goal is to enhance human well-being and help meet the needs of all people by providing the best possible customer service, community resources, and support for the individuals and families served in the community.

She is very passionate about working with women and children. She works with children, ages 4 and up, teenagers, and adults. She provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, relationship problems, family conflict, and grief & loss (bereavement, terminal illness, loss of pregnancy, divorce).
