COVID-19 Policies

Due to the continued Covid-19 pandemic our practice has the following policies in place until further notice. Thank you for your understanding as Adult and Child Counseling of Athens continues to operate as safely as possible.

  • We are currently seeing clients in person only.
  • Due to the vulnerable populations we serve we are requiring proof of full covid vaccination for everyone aged 5+.
  • Masks are required for ages 2+ at all times except during your session. Our counselors are fully vaccinated and will wear a mask during your session if requested.
  • Social distancing is required. When possible, stay 6 feet apart from others.
  • You are required to wait in your car if you arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment. This will help reduce the number of people in the waiting area.
  • If you are over 18 and have someone driving you to your appointment (driver/caregiver) they will not be allowed to wait for you in the waiting room, they must wait in their car.
  • Everyone is required to sanitize their hands upon entry to the office. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
  • More specific policies and procedures are listed in the intake paperwork.
  • Policies are subject to change.
